Tero Pikala   Our professional level underwater photography courses follow a similar structure to the Advanced Underwater Film-Maker Course. The course is 8 dives and is heavily dependant on your level of skill and knowledge. In other words a beginner will be learning the ropes above and below the water with a strong focus on buoyancy and safety. An experienced photographer will be learning to use slave flash units to gain 3 dimensions and depth of field. Both will experience a strong bias towards composition and getting publishable images.
The course begins the same way as the video course with on land photography, developing the eye, learning the rules of composition and goes further into the technical aspects of photography.
Our instructors have images published in many magazines across the globe and are permanently on the quest for better images themselves.
The 8 dive course costs 35,000 Baht and we reccomend using your own equipment as familiarity is crucial; that said we do have cameras of different levels available for use! We are also willing to tailor shorter experience courses at the same rates as trhe video course, 19,000 Baht for a 4 dive course and 12,000 baht for 2 dives.
