ACE Marine Images Charity Contributions
Living and working in Thailand for more than 10 years, we have always wanted to make sure that we give something back to the Thai community and to the local environment. Each year we choose one or more charities across the country and dedicate our know how and experience to helping their projects.
We continue to work closely with the Secret Garden Conservation group in Koh Tao, providing them with free graphic design and indeed making financial contributions from the sale of videos! We created their logo for them amongst other things. Their selfless dedication to the education of the children and to environmental issues here on Koh Tao is quite profound and matched by no other.
The film on the Home Page is Save Koh Tao Now which we produced in conjunction with PADI, Project AWARE, SSI and PeunPa, in order to help preserve Koh Tao. We also produced all the t-shirt, linen bag and banner designs for the Save Koh Tao Group (other than the turtle logo), free of charge! Indeed the Preserve Paradise slogan is an ACE Marine Images concept which we gladly donated!
Early in 2009 ACE Marine Images travelled to Udon Thani and produced the above film for the Friends of Udon, to try to alleviate some of the suffering amongst the impoverished handicapped children and their families! This was an incredibly moving project and we would like to wish the Friends of Udon and all the incredible people of Isan all the best for the future! Please watch the film above, it is incredibly humbling.
We are dedicated to promoting Thailand for the future of the Thai people. As we benefit from, and help to create the tourist industry here, we are determined to help people less fortunate than ourselves and we will continue to help to promote both local and global conservation and research efforts through our documentary production and environmentally conscious training!
Underwater video training at ACE Marine Images is a great way to come and get involved with broadcast film production, charity work and conservation, what a great way to spend your gap year!
